Malaga will once again have direct flights with the Qatari capital starting next June 2. The airline Qatar Airways will resume one more summer, the fifth, this route. It will do so four times a week until September 11. The company has explained that it will fly from Malaga on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing from the Costa del Sol airport at 3:45 p.m. and arriving in Doha at 11:45 p.m. (local time). In the case of flights departing from Qatar, it is scheduled to depart at 07:50 and will arrive at Malaga airport at 14:15.

Smaïl Boudjennah, director in Western Europe of Qatar Airways, has pointed out that “it is great news to be able to resume our route to Malaga for another year during the summer of 2023. Spain is a very important destination and having four connections during the summer season is always a source of pride for us, and even more so this year, when we celebrate the fifth anniversary of this union between Malaga and Doha”.

In addition, they have highlighted that this connectivity allows international travelers to visit the Costa del Sol and discover everything that Malaga has to offer, “a unique destination to enjoy the summer months”, they have detailed. Similarly, travelers from Malaga and Andalusia will be able to travel to destinations in the Qatar Airways global network, such as Bali, Bangkok, Maldives, Manila, Phuket, Singapore or Zanzibar, among many others, through Hamad International Airport (HIA). in Doha, which has been named Best Airport in the World.

Malaga joins the network of destinations with direct connections to Doha. It should be remembered that Qatar Airways connects Spanish passengers throughout the year from Madrid and Barcelona. Currently, it operates 16 weekly flights from the capital of Spain. Specifically every Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and three daily flights on Wednesday and Thursday. From Barcelona, ​​the airline operates two daily flights.
